Withdrawing from your course/subject or taking leave after census date
What happens if I withdraw after census date?
If you withdraw from a subject after census date, but before the Last Withdrawal without Fail date, you will remain liable for your fees and will receive a WD (Withdrawn without Academic Penalty) grade for subject.
If you withdraw after the Last Withdrawal without Fail date, you will remain financially liable for your fees and will receive a KN (Withdrawn Late - Fail) grade for the subject.
You can't withdraw from a subject after the last day of the enrolled study period.
Online Campus students should check the Academic Calendar for Online Students for your study period dates.
Taking leave from your studies/withdrawing from your course
If you apply for Discontinuation of Enrolment or Leave of Absence after census date, but before the Last Withdrawal without Fail date, you will remain liable for your fees and will receive a WD (Withdrawn without Academic Penalty) grade for your subjects.
If you apply after the Last Withdrawal without Fail date, you will remain financially liable for your fees and will receive a KN (Withdrawn Late - Fail) grade for your subjects.
Withdrawing late due to special circumstances
If you have had to withdraw from your subject late due to special circumstances, you may be eligible to apply for a Remission of Debt. If your application is successful, your debt will be waived and the grades removed from your Academic Transcript.
