How do I get an Agreed Progression Plan and Confirmation of Enrolment?
Step 1 - Agreed Progression Plan (APP)
- Request an Agreed Progression Plan (APP)
To request a a new APP, contact us via ASK a Question and include the date of your current Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) expiry date. Your new APP will outline how and when you will complete your course and will include recommendations for how to improve your studies. It is a requirement of your student visa that you maintain a full time equivalent enrolment, which is usually 60 credit points per semester, and that you follow a study pattern that allows you to complete your course on time. If you have approval to underload, you will need to provide evidence of that too. An APP will usually be completed and emailed to you within 7 university working days. - Clear any sanctions (if applicable)
If you have any outstanding fees, or if you have made unsatisfactory academic progress, you may have a sanction on your student record. For financial sanctions, pay any outstanding fees before re-enrolling. For academic progress sanctions, ASK a Question and we will advise you on your options. - Enrol online
Selecting the subjects listed in your APP
Once your APP has been prepared, and if you have no sanctions, you can re-enrol in StudentOnLine. If you have any difficulties at this stage please ASK a Question.
Step 2 - Extend your Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
Your new student visa will be valid for the same period as your OSHC policy to ensure that you have health cover for the entire period (visa length) you are in Australia.
See more information on extending OSHC.
Step 3 - Apply for a new electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
Complete the online Application for Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) form and attach:
- a copy of your passport
- a copy of your current visa page or e-visa
- a receipt showing that you have extended your OSHC
- your Agreed Progression Plan (APP)
Please note:
- APP requests may take up to 7 working days to complete
- CoE applications may take up to 7 working days to complete
- A new CoE will not be issued until the results of the current Semester are officially released by the University
- Sponsored students will need to obtain a new Financial Guarantee Letter from their sponsor before a new CoE can be issued
- If you are in your final study period, and you are fully enrolled in all remaining subjects an APP is not required.
