Exam clashes

What if my exam clashes with another?

Occasionally you may find that two centrally-run exams have been scheduled for you at the same time, and on the same day (an exam clash).

If this happens, you'll be contacted by the Examinations Office two weeks before your exam to make an alternative assessment schedule.

An exam clash only applies when two exams occur on the same day at the same time. Two exams on the same day (eg. 9am and 2pm) is not considered a clash.

If you find you have an exam clash with a centrally scheduled exam and an ‘in house’ scheduled exam (delivered by your School) – please contact the subject coordinator of the in house exam and they will find you an alternate time to sit.
