Changing your address in StudentOnLine

How can I change my address? What if I cannot save my new address?

You will see your address at the time of admission listed in StudentOnLine.There is no need to change or update this address; it is noted at the time of your admission to La Trobe and will not update with your current addresses.

You can change your home, semester/term and postal address in the My Details tile in StudentOnLine under Contacts.

When you accept your offer and log in to StudentOnLine to enrol for the first time, you won't be able to complete the enrolment process until you first add and confirm your semester/term address.

The Find Address search box will auto-complete and validate your address to make sure it matches Australia Post records. If you live in a new housing development or in student accommodation, your address might not be registered with Australia Post. If your address doesn't validate automatically, you can enter it manually in the text fields. Please check these details carefully before clicking Save. A green Saved notification will appear when your details have been updated successfully.

International students must have an international home address entered in StudentOnLine. If you are not an international student and you type in an international address, you may encounter an error message. This message is only a warning and your changes can still be saved.
